Restorative Yoga Workshop
2 hour Restorative Yoga Workshop
1153 Main Street, Downtown Coventry, CT
May 8, Wednesday, 5pm-7pm


The fact is, stress is a very real part of our daily lives and often times we can’t seem to find the time to relax and regroup. Come and nourish your mind/body/spirit with an evening of gentle, therapeutic, restorative yoga to relax, restore, and renew.

Restorative yoga uses props to fully support the body allowing for a very deep relaxation.  In this special workshop, you will be led through a series of floor poses that will open your body, release tension and stored-up toxins, and melt away stress.  Come join us as we move into a state of ease and away from the normal activity of the body and mind.  Leave this workshop with a new sense of peace, relaxation, and rejuvenation. 

Please dress in layers.
You will need to bring props:  Yoga mat, 1 bed pillow, 2 bath towels, 1 comfy blanket 
Optional: An eye pillow, 1-2 yoga blocks, anything else that you feel would make you more comfortable

It is often said that the sense of smell is the most powerful sense of all … it is also said that essential oils were mankind’s first medicine.  Aromatherapy has been used for thousands of years to cleanse and heal. Come and learn about the uses and healing properties of some of these oils and create your own personal body oil blend to take home with you.

During this 2-week class we will explore different meditation techniques and discuss ways to create your own meditation practice that fits within your lifestyle.

Coming Soon: Beginner Yoga Session

This beginner yoga class will guide you through letting go of stress, strengthening your body, and increasing flexibility - allowing you to recharge and reconnect with that peaceful place inside. We will combine movement, breath work, meditation, and restorative yoga to create a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Please dress in layers and bring a yoga mat, towel for comfort, water, and anything else that will make you comfortable.
